Every week my days are filled full of the pride I have for being a Rotarian. Our relatively young club is full of great people who are committed to the club and our purpose. Everyone is giving it their all. In our 5 years of existence, we have raised thousands of dollars for work in our community and abroad. Unless you get involved you'll never really understand the impact that Rotary has. Everyone of us can say that we helped eradicate Polio. Our latest charge is to provide clean drinking water for the world. I have no doubt that we'll make it happen. Imagine the lives that will be saved by providing something as simple as clean water. In 2009 we also awarded our first two scholarships to two local graduating seniors to continue their secondary education.
If you are interested in learning more about Rotary, I'd love to meet you. We're looking for energetic people who want to become involved and make a difference. Join us for lunch, and if Rotary is right for you, we'll gladly welcome you to our membershipship which is 1.2 million world-wide. It will change your life.
